Park near the church in Saint-Bonnet-le-Troncy.
(S/E) Leave the church and head down towards the Colin Museum, where you will see the sign for the routes around Saint-Bonnet. Follow the sign for "6". Follow the Route du Suchet, turn left onto the Chemin de la Voisinée, pass Le Ronçon and continue to a fork in the road.
(1) Turn left to enter the woods and join theGR® 7 at the Croix du Sud.
(2) Turn left and continue north on theGR®, passing several paths on your right and left. You will arrive at a wayside cross.
(3) Ignore the path that branches off to the right and continue straight ahead until you reach the junction with the D9 at Col de la Croix Nicelle.
(4) Turn left onto the road and, shortly afterwards, turn left onto the path that descends towards Saint-Bonnet and leads to a small road.
(5) Continue straight ahead, pass another calvary and join the D9, just before the church and the starting point (S/E).
