From Saint-Appolinard to Chevrières via the Saint-Pierre chapel
This is an easy hike, except for its length. It will take you through woods, walnut orchards and fields on the southern slope of the Chambarans.

La Croisée des Plâtres at the start of Chevrières
This walk presents no major difficulties. It climbs the foothills of the Chambarans and offers many beautiful panoramic views of the Vercors and a few of the Chartreuse. The paths taken are either wide stony tracks or small tarmac roads.
The Secret Wood of Gargamelle
Immerse yourself in the Chambaran Forest from the Trappe.
Head to Gargamelle, a ruin in a clearing, to see the Smurfs or, if not, deer or roe deer.
Walk part of the Way of St James in Chambaran.

From Dionay to Saint-Antoine l'Abbaye
You walk along the foothills of the Chambarans until you reach the unmissable medieval village of Saint-Antoine l'Abbaye with its famous abbey. You have constant beautiful views of the northern barrier of the Vercors.
The only difficulty is the high mileage.

A nice little walk that allows you to get some fresh air without getting your shoes muddy when the paths are very muddy, as it takes place almost exclusively on small asphalt roads. No difficulty, the elevation gain is very gentle and gradual.
Quincivet Castle Circular
The first part of the walk is very shady. It alternates between passages through the undergrowth, walnut groves and countryside. You will pass by the pretty Château de Quincivet and enjoy some beautiful views of the Vercors, the Chartreuse and the Saint-Marcellin plain. There are no difficulties to be feared, except for the length and muddy conditions in rainy weather.
The kingfisher trail from Beauvoir-en-Royans to La Sône
You start in the charming medieval village of Beauvoir-en-Royans and head to La Sône. On the way there, you take the kingfisher trail along the Isère. This is a short day's walk combining culture and nature.
September 2020: several hikers have reported significant deterioration of the trail along the Isère River. Some sections may even be dangerous.
Circular Montchardon starting from Izeron
This hike will take you on a journey. At the start, you will have to tackle the foothills of the Vercors, but once you reach Montchardon, you will have arrived in Tibet. It is best to do this hike on a Sunday so that you can visit the Tibetan Studies Centre.
