Country walk in Goudelin

Starting from the Notre-Dame-de-l'Isle Chapel, walk through the countryside towards Leff.
A relatively easy walk which, as you pass through woodland and along rivers and streams, will allow you to discover the typical Breton countryside.

Description of the walk

Park in the car park at the Notre-Dame-de-l'Isle Chapel on the edge of the road linking Guingamp and Lanvollon

(S/E) Take the tarmac road uphill and turn right towards Lannec. At the end of this road, take the grassy path to the first houses.

(1) Turn left onto the tarmac road and follow it to the hamlet of Bois de la Roche.

(2) Turn right towards Pen An Guer.

(3) Turn left, pass the house and take a path down into the woods to the River Leff. Turn left and follow the river to the D32 road.

(4) Follow the road to the left and go uphill. After 200 metres, turn right and then immediately left at a place called Le Dossen.

(5) At a left-hand bend, turn right and keep right until you reach the Saint-David wayside shrine.

(6) Turn left at the hamlet of Saint-David, take the grassy path and follow it downhill to the Goazel stream. Cross the bridge and follow the path up through the woods to the hamlet of Le Gonzolet, which you pass through to reach the D32.

(7) Cross the D32 towards Kergoff and continue towards Kergoff Castle.

(8) Take a 50-metre detour to admire the castle, then resume the path to the D67.

(9) Turn left onto this road. As there is no footpath, watch out for traffic and cross the bridge.

(10) Turn left onto the path known as the Circuit de la Petite Filandière. Walk alongside the motocross track and follow the path which joins a road before leading, through a green space, to the Chapel of Notre-Dame-de-l'Isle (S/E).

Hello,
I’ve amended the description between points 4 and 5, but you can also stay on the uphill road and reach point 5 directly
Kind regards

A very pleasant route that takes you along sunken paths and through woodland!
One point to note:
Between points 4 and 5:
After following the Leff, turn left and, instead of staying on the D32, turn right towards Traou Voaz!
A quiet little road!

At the 9: be very careful as you’ll find yourself on a very busy main road; it’s a short stretch but dangerous for a group of 20 people 🤔
