Departure from Place des Arts car park.
(S/E) Take Rue de la Maison du Lac to the right of the lake, after 30 m, turn slightly left to follow the path that runs along the shore for 250 m.
(1) Turn right, cross the road from the lake house after 20 m to climb up to Chef Lieu and pass on the left after 60 m between the town hall and the cemetery. Continue straight on Chemin du Villard for 400 m, then leave the path on the right at the power line and continue straight on for another 250 m.
(2) Turn left into the woods where there is a totem pole. Pass over a stream with an original bench. Reach the village of Villard after 150 m. Pass between a ruin and a typical Savoyard house. Before the road, turn right to see a work of art near the chapel and retrace your steps to cross the road. Climb up opposite on the left for 100 m, then turn left onto Chemin de Pradier for 1000 m.
(3) Descend Chemin des Côtes du Breuil on the left for 300 m (before this, you can make a return trip to the Pradier farm, which sells goat's milk cheese, 200 m away). Cross the road and descend for 150 m.
(4) Take the middle path (red tree trunk), ignoring the paths on the left and right, descend for 500 m then take a sharp left turn, and after 100 m keep left for 250 m, then turn right and join the D 85 tarmac road, cross it and continue straight ahead to Rue André Charvaz. Atthe first bend in the tarmac road, take the small path that goes straight down between two houses, cross a tarmac road, pass to the right of the bread oven and join Rue des Feux de la Saint-Jean.
(5) Go down Chemin du Bachal on the left, cross the street and take the half-erased path that runs alongside the tennis courts, pass behind the restaurant 150 m away, continue on the path that branches off to the right for 150 m, then turn right.
(1) Cross the small bridge towards the restaurant and take the path along the left bank of the lake to reach the car park 300 m away (S/E).
