Moneglia walks

Hike involving 5–6 hours of walking. The hike starts on foot towards Deiva Marina beach. It continues with a steep climb to reach a promontory and then descends to Bonassola. Afterwards, a 1½-hour hike to Levanto is optional. From Bonassola (15 minutes) or Levanto (18 minutes), you must take the train to return to Moneglia.

Trail in the Cinque Terre region from Levanto to Monterosso, the first village in the Cinque Terre (near Genoa and Pisa in Italy), following the SVA trail closest to the coast. Levanto is one of the best places to visit the five villages by train and go hiking. This allows you to walk from Levanto to Monterosso without taking the train at the start. Return by train.

This trail offers spectacular views of Corniglia and Vernazza, as well as San Bernardino at the top of the hill. If you decide to take this trail, you are guaranteed picturesque views. You will pass through olive groves, vineyards and Mediterranean scrub. There is a panoramic viewpoint over the famous village and its medieval tower from the trail near Vernazza. Access to Riomaggiore is via inland and less frequented paths. Depart from the church in Manarola and arrive at the castle in Riomaggiore by following marked paths through vineyards and groves.

The essentials of Manarola, with a circular that overlooks the most beautiful of the Cinque Terre villages. Breathtaking views of the village and the harbour await you, as do the most traditional images of the narrow streets.

A surprising hike that avoids the Azzuro trail, which is currently closed between these two villages. Very strenuous, as it goes from a steep climb to a dizzying descent. If you're afraid of stairs, don't attempt it!

This route takes you from Santuario di Nostra Signora di Montenero to Monte Della Madonna, over Monte Dei Fraschi, and back towards the road via Toretto. I stopped at Monte Della Madonna for a well deserved lunch break.
