To start the walk, park either in the car park at San Rocco Church (S/E) or in the cemetery car park (1).
A route that allows you to appreciate the diversity of the forests and landscape. Through chestnut groves, beech woods and coniferous forests. Rivers. A ridge walk. Stunning, especially in autumn when the leaves change colour.

Notes
There are rocky sections at times. A river crossing in the final section may require you to take off your shoes, depending on the season.
Other walks in the area
Lago Santo
A beautiful hike. The relatively steep climb is rewarded with a view of this lake.
Note: if you want to hike all the way around the lake (to the left), you will have to cross a scree slope. If you prefer a more leisurely pace, you can hike to the right to the mountain hut.
From Bettola to Rossoreggio
Walk from Bettola to Rossoregio through the woods.
The climb up to Selva is a bit tough and exposed to the sun.
But after that, it climbs gently and quietly through the woods.
You arrive at a plateau and then descend to Rossoregio, a picturesque little village.
Moneglia - Bonassola
Hike involving 5–6 hours of walking. The hike starts on foot towards Deiva Marina beach. It continues with a steep climb to reach a promontory and then descends to Bonassola. Afterwards, a 1½-hour hike to Levanto is optional. From Bonassola (15 minutes) or Levanto (18 minutes), you must take the train to return to Moneglia.
Framura – Bonassola – Sella dei Bagari – Levanto
A very lovely walk overall, ideal for getting off the heavily touristed trails of the Cinque Terre.
The route starts in Framura; it’s magnificent as far as Bonassola, but less interesting on the way to Levanto.
