The hike takes you on a journey of discovery through the region's historical heritage and passes by the site of the former Fort de Mévouillon. Considered a threat by the king, the fort was razed to the ground in 1684. Several buildings (houses, churches) were built using stones from the old fort. The route is fairly wild and little frequented.
