Parking at the Maison Commune in Brussey.
(S/E) From the car park, walk up Rue du Moulin towards the village of Brussey.
(1) At the intersection, take the D15 on the right. Turn left quickly at Les Douces Terres to begin the climb leading to the forest heights of Brussey (approximately 1.3 km).
(2) Turn right and walk 500 metres along the edge of the woods to reach a road.
(3) Turn left and continue uphill through the woods for 1.5 km to reach the ridge on the Brussey Avrigney forest road.
(4) At the main intersection, turn left (Saint-Jacques de Compostelle signpost: yellow shell on a blue background). Continue straight ahead down the Bois des Prêtres. Pass the first houses in Marnay via the Chemin de la Corvée.
(5) Opposite the fire station, turn left onto Rue Gabiot and continue straight ahead.
(6) At the intersection, go through the barrier and take the old Tacot road, which you will follow until you reach the finish point (S/E).
It's a great route and the autumn colours are superb. Lake Saint Point was the same colour as the sky (blue).
