Park in the car park of the "La Bénévole" village hall.

(S/E) Head towards the village until you reach Grande Rue and turn right.
(1) Take the first street on the left, Chemin du Mont. Ignore Impasse du Rang, do not enter the housing estate and go up to the left, where you can see Marnay and the Ognon valley.
(2) Continue left on the path that runs alongside the forest and then enters the Bois des Rappes. Ignore several turnings on the left, then turn left to reach a T-junction.
(3) Turn left again. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead along the Bois des Ranchots and reach the hamlet of Cordiron via Rue des Ranchots.
(4) Cross the departmental road towards the castle, where you can admire the tower and the porch that served as a tollgate. Continue along Chemin de la Tour and turn left to see the fountain-wash house built in 1786 and fed by a spring below the castle.
(5) Return to Chemin de la Tour and continue left until you reach the junction at a small pond on your right.
(6) Keep to the left and continue between two ponds. At the edge of the woods, turn left and continue to another junction.
(7) Make a quick first turn right then left, walk along a field on your right, then go around a grove on your left and walk along the LGV.
(8) At the crossroads, turn left and return to the starting point (S/E).
