Park in the Parc de Loisirs car park. To the south of the car park, there are men’s and women’s toilets.
(S/E) Leave the car park and take the Route du Domaine de l’Étang on the right, then very quickly turn left onto the stony path before the entrance to the estate. This path runs between the pond on the left and the golf course on the right. At the end of the path, turn right, then, just before the Voie Verte bridge, turn left onto the track.
(1) Join the Voie Verte and follow it until it joins a road. The path is entirely tarmac-surfaced, but the verge on the right allows you to walk on loose ground.
(2) Cross Rue du Pont and leave the Voie Verte, continuing slightly to the left towards the picnic table. Join the road and turn left to cross the old stone bridge towards Loyat.
Just after the bridge is a picnic area with toilet facilities.
(3) Leave the picnic area by crossing the road and head towards the campsite’s tennis court. Turn left, keeping the tennis court on your right, and follow the Yvel.
(4) At the large boulders, turn right and go round the lake to reach the footbridge spanning the river.

(5) Turn right after the footbridge and continue to the retaining wall (very wet or even flooded area).
(6) Cross the retaining wall and continue for 200m before taking a sharp left-hand bend. Take the footbridge overlooking the marsh and continue through the marsh to the sound of birdsong. The path runs alongside a road without ever joining it.
(7) Ignore the path on the right and continue straight on, skirting the pond. The path crosses a road leading to the pond. It veers northwards, becoming a track suitable for vehicles, to go round the Ruisseau de Saint-Jean.
(8) Leave the road on the left to take the footbridge spanning the stream and stay as close as possible to the pond. Cross a road used for launching boats and continue to the left. Do the same at the second road, continuing straight ahead.
(9) Once on the path, turn left and continue along the edge of the pond. Continue between private properties on the right and the pond on the left to reach the buildings of the Water Sports Centre.
(10) Walk around the water sports centre as close as possible to the pond and continue along the beach. Keep to the right to reach Rue des Belles Rives.
(11) Turn left and continue along the footpath that runs alongside the road.
(12) Take the stairs on the left and walk along the pond, then cross the road to reach the car park (S/E).
