The Pouillé Copse in Larchamp

Park in the post office car park, behind the church.

(S/E) Leave the car park on the right, cross the D224 road and continue straight ahead into Rue d’Anjou.
At the junction with Rue d’Ernée, continue straight on into Rue Nouvelle, then turn left into Rue du Maine.

(1) At “Puisard”, leave the D521 by turning left. At “Bas Puisard”, continue straight ahead along the path, heading south-east.

(2) At the end of the track, turn left. When you reach the D523, follow it to the left, keeping to the right-hand verge. Very soon, follow the parallel track to its end.
Turn right onto the road and follow it round the bends.

(3) At a right-hand bend, take the path on the left and follow it to the end, ignoring a path on the left. At the T-junction, turn left and then, after 60m, turn right to go behind the "La Petite Coupée" farm.

(4) Follow the road to the left. This road, initially heading west, continues north before turning north-west and joining the D224.

(5) Turn left for 50m, then follow the path on the right which runs alongside a pond.
Before a farm shed, turn right to cross a stream and continue to the left to reach the access road to the farm.
Take this road, cross the D31 and continue straight ahead.

(6) Turn left at the hamlet known as "Le Rocher". Ignore the path on the right leading to "Taillis de Pouillé". Continue northwards and, when the road becomes a track, follow it.

(7) At the crossroads, turn left, then take the first path on the right. Initially heading north-west, it veers north before reaching the "Haies".

(8) Follow the road on the left until you reach the D31. Turn right onto the D31, pass through the hamlet of "Point du Jour" and enter the village of Montaudin.

(9) Cross the road and turn left onto Route de Larchamp.
At the fork, take the road on the left. At “Les Marais”, in the left-hand bend, continue straight ahead along the track. (This straight track is the former site of a railway line).
At the end of the path, continue along the road to the right and enter Larchamp via Rue des Vilaines.
The car park is on the right, opposite the Post Office (S/E).
