(S/E) To get off to a good start, take a short walk around the lake.
Turn left onto Rue du Bas Bourg before the school and head towards Place de l’Église. Continue straight on along Rue du Relais. Pass the town hall and the cemetery. You’ll reach the hamlet of l’Éclardière. Take thesecond street on the right towards Minette.
(1) The road ends here. Carry on along the track to the right. Ignore several tracks branching off to the right and left, keeping a south-east direction at all times.
Before passing under a power line, there’s a magnificent panoramic view to the right. The track becomes a road at La Basse Houdinais and joins a main road. Follow it to the left for 100 m, then turn right onto the Chemin de la Croix du Palais.

(2) TheGR® continues to the right. Turn left towards the north. At the Fisseau farm on your right, the path widens and then becomes a road leading to the D17 departmental road.
(3) Cross the road and continue straight ahead. The road bends to the right, then to the left at La Petite Lande, and then bends twice more at La Lande.
The road becomes a track, bending to the left. After 100 m, turn right onto the track (not shown on IGN maps). Cross the Rivière de la Motte d’Yné.

(5) As you approach the houses of Bas Planti, veer right towards Petite Ville du Bois. At the Y-junction, turn left and follow this road.
(6) Turn right towards Bas Marchand. After 70 m, turn left onto a tree-lined path that initially heads north-west. It skirts the Beaucé quarry and ends at a road at the entrance to the quarry. Turn left and follow the Rivière de la Motte d’Yné.
(7) At the departmental road, turn left. Take care as there are many lorries coming from the quarry; then, after a bend, turn onto a path on the right. Continue along this path (although not fully shown on IGN maps, it is clearly marked).
