Departure in front of the Viella Town Hall.
(S/E) Take Grand Rue du Pacherenc heading north-east, then turn right onto Rue Yvette Sourdois. Pass the swimming pool and then the church, leaving one street on your left and one on your right.
(1) Turn left onto Chemin de Mempay, go down into the woods following an electric fence and follow the sunken path.
(2) Pass the cattle grids (beware of electric fence), cross the small stream, follow a grassy strip. At the oak tree, turn right and go up a vineyard path to a tarmac road.
(3) Follow it to the right for one kilometre until you reach a place called Crio.
(4) Turn right, walk alongside the vineyard and then a field. Cross the footbridge and walk up through the vineyards towards the hamlet of Saint-Benazit.
(5) In the hamlet, take the path on your left towards the farm "Le Thérou", follow the signs and descend through the meadow. Cross the lake dyke, leave a path on your left and climb up towards the Bernet estate. When you reach it, continue along the road to the Labaoune estate.
(6) Go past the buildings and turn left. 100 metres further on, leave the road at a bend and take the path opposite between the field and the vineyard. Continue straight ahead for 1.2 kilometres until you reach the D136.
(7) Cross the departmental road and continue straight ahead, slightly to the right. After 300 metres, cross a local road, follow the vineyard paths, turning right, and continue until you reach an oak tree.
(8) At the oak tree, you will meet thePR®2 trail. Climb to the right towards the castle. Then, walk along the vineyards, descend to your left for 200 metres, then turn right uphill and follow the markings on the vineyard paths to reach the D136. Follow the road to the left to return to your starting point (S/E).
