(S/E) Depart from the car park on the edge of the D946 in Saint-Mont. Walk down the D946 for 30 metres, turn left and then take a farm track and follow the grassy strip to a sewage treatment plant.
(1) Turn left onto a tarmac road, then after 30 metres, turn right onto the Las Claux path.
(2) Turn left and climb through vineyards and fields to the D946. Ignore a path on the left.
(3) Turn right onto the path next to the meadow and overlooking the road for 100 metres. At the crossroads, opposite the water tower, turn right. After 100 metres, turn left onto a grassy path, follow the vineyard paths to reach a local road.
(4) Turn right onto the road, pass a cross (on your right, ox cart), continue straight ahead on this road to reach the D946 after 1.2 km.
(5) Cross the road and turn right onto a grassy strip below, which runs alongside the Bergons river as it flows into the Adour. Continue for 1.3 km.
(6) Turn left onto a path that runs alongside a field and then a vineyard, heading up towards the Tropania farm. Before the buildings, turn right, go down towards the vineyards and then back up through the vineyard paths. Turn right again onto the vineyard paths and continue along the path to the cemetery.
(7) Pass the entrance and continue straight ahead. The path winds between fields and groves and descends towards the Adour via small wooden steps (be careful as they can be slippery in wet weather). The path overlooks the river and leads to the lower part of the village, in front of a red brick house.
(8) Take the path on the left, which will take you through the narrow streets of the village of Saint-Mont to your starting point (S/E).
