Departure from the sports hall car park, Place Koekelaere.
(S/E) Opposite the sports hall, take the street on the left. Cross the housing estate until you reach the Cédez le passage, then turn right and immediately left onto Route de Ledringhem. Continue along this road until you reach the houses.
(1) Take the path on the left after the last house. At the end, turn right and then immediately left to cross the level crossing.
(2) At the next crossroads, turn right onto a small road that becomes a path and runs alongside the railway line. Continue to the next crossroads.
(3) Continue straight on Chemin du Moulin, which continues to run alongside the railway line, then veers off to the left. You will reach a crossroads.
(4) Turn right and cross the railway line again. Further on, cross a farm and continue to the junction with the D52.
(5) Cross it carefully and continue straight ahead until you reach the stop sign near a small wooded area.
(6) Take the street on the left and follow the path that leads to Esquelbec. Come out onto the road called Rue d'Arneke, turn right and continue straight on until you reach Route de Wormhout.
(7) Turn right, ignore the first street on the right and take the next one, Rue des Dunkirk Veterans, towards "Mémorial de la Plaine au Bois". Continue straight ahead until you reach the memorial, which is on the left.
(8) Retrace your steps and rejoin the route by turning left until you reach the next crossroads. Make a short left-right turn to continue straight ahead until you reach the junction with Route de Wormhout (D55).
(9) Cross the road and head straight ahead towards a large farm on the left, pass it and continue to a crossroads about 250 metres further on.
(10) Turn left and cross the Peene Becque via the Denhout Bridge, continuing to the next crossroads.
(11) Turn right onto Chemin de Zermezeele and continue for about 2 km until you reach a crossroads opposite a wayside shrine.
(12) Turn right onto Wormhout Straate, pass another wayside shrine and, further on, leave the entrance to Ferme de la Wissche on your left. Continue for about 400 m.
(13) Take the road on the right that leads past the entrance to a farm. Turn left onto a path, cross the D52 and take Rue Jockweck opposite.
(14) At the next crossroads, turn left onto Rue du Cygne, then take the path on the right that leads to the Arneke water treatment plant and joins the D55.
(15) Turn left, then after 100 metres take the path on the right which leads back to Route de Ledringhem.
(1) Head left to return to Arneke and follow the outward route in reverse to return to the sports hall car park (S/E).
