Park in front of Orquevaux Church.
(S/E) From the church, take the street opposite, then turn right onto the D16. You will see a pink-brick château on your left. After the town hall, turn right onto Rue du Cul du Cerf and follow it for 50 m.
(1) Pass Rue des Jardins on your right (turn back) and continue along Rue du Cul du Cerf until you reach a fork.
(2) Pass the Fourneau farm on your left and stay on the left bank of the River Manoise, continuing straight ahead. Continue along Chemin du Cul du Cerf until you reach the pumping station on your left, which supplies several villages.
(3) Continue along the Manoise on your right until you reach a fork. Ignore the path on the right which crosses the river, head left and reach a second fork.
(4) Take the path on the right to reach the source of the Manoise, following the course of the river. Cross the wooden bridge and follow the left bank along the narrow path, depending on the terrain. Cross the Manoise stream (a very gentle current) and arrive at the bottom of the cirque.
(5) Admire this amphitheatre-shaped cirque with its steep slopes. Retrace your steps for about 50 m, turn right, climb the slope to the left of the cirque and take the large steps to reach the summit and cross the road (D148). Continue a few metres straight ahead until you reach a fork.
(6) Follow thePR® sign to the left, which runs alongside the main road. Cross a track and then reach a path on the left after the wide bend to the right.
(7) Turn onto the path on the left, cross the main road a second time and follow, straight ahead, the Chemin de Chambroncourt, along the edge of the woods, until you approach the road (D16).
(8) Follow the white track straight ahead and turn left onto the D16 to reach the bridge at the entrance to the village of Orqu
(1) Turn left at the bridge onto Rue du Cul du Cerf, then right onto Rue des Jardins, then right onto Rue du Haut. On your left is “Le Castel”, a château that once belonged to the family of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Continue straight on along Rue de l’Église to reach the church in Orquevaux (S/E).
