From Chaumont, head towards Neufchâteau. At the entrance to the village, park in the small square just after the first houses on the left. The square has no name and no signpost, but it is right next to a clearly visible mural depicting the signing of the Treaty of Andelot.
There is no signposting on this route.
(S/E) From the car park, take the small staircase leading to a fountain, heading north, in the middle of Square Nicolas Bailly. At the end of the square, turn right into Rue du Dardignon. At the end of the street, turn left towards Signéville, then take the first turning on the right, Rue de la Fontaine Ronde. The road soon bends at right angles to the left.
(1) Just before reaching the Signéville road, at a concrete bench, follow the white path to the right. Initially running north-west, it veers north-east and then north.
(2) Take advantage of the panoramic view over Andelot, the Montéclair and Fouillot hills and catch a glimpse of the Moulin district. Continue along the path for another hundred metres or so.
(3) When the path is no longer passable, turn around and return to the car park by the reverse route.
(1) At the end of the path, level with the concrete bench, go down the left-hand street. At the end of the road, turn left. At the crossroads, turn right into Rue du Dardignon. At the square, Square Nicolas Bailly, go towards the fountain, then down the small steps to the car park (S/E).
