Park just before the grey-brick house on Rue de la Madeleine, on the outskirts of Curel, heading towards Osne-le-Val.
(S/E) Follow the small road uphill, Rue de la Madeleine.
(1) At the end, head right up the long Crêt Crémont hill to the top.
(2) Look out for the return path on the left and carry on straight ahead.
(3) Do the same at the next junction, pass under the high-voltage power line, follow the edge of a woodland and look for the start of a white, motorable track on the left.
(4) Follow this track, which descends westwards and eventually joins the D8.
(5) Walk a few metres to the left, then turn left again to follow the track leading back up into the forest.
(6) Halfway up the slope, when you reach a Y-junction, take the right-hand path. Once at the top, follow the path to the left which marks the boundary between the municipalities and rejoin the ascent route.
(3) Turn right.
(2) Head down to the right towards the west (Martignéval). Carry on straight ahead until you reach the edge of the woods, then continue to the left towards the Croix Michel.
(7) Do not take the main road but take the path on the left which bends to the right and then rejoins the road. Follow it this time to the left for about 200 m, then turn left.
(1) Turn right onto Rue de la Madeleine to return to the starting point (S/E).
