Park at the Prapoutel ski resort, accessible via the D281.
Take the Télésiège des Chamois and head to the top of the second section.
(S/E) Take the main path descending to the right towards Lac de la Jasse.
(1) Go round the lake on the right and take the grassy path climbing steeply, following the Lac ski lift to the Col de Bédina.
(2) At the pass, turn right onto the ridge. After the small summit, the descent is steep (but safe) along the ridge. Continue to the junction with a wide path coming from the lake.
(3) Continue along the wider path, still on the ridge of Montagne de Bédina. After about a hundred metres, ignore the first path on the left and continue to the next path on the left.
(4) Head down this shaded path heading south-southeast. After a right-hand bend, you’ll reach Gros Caillou.
(5) Continue, keeping the rock on your right, towards the Pré de l'Arc. Descend through the woodland and reach it after a hairpin bend.
(6) Turn right onto a well-marked path and avoid the paths leading to the accommodation. The path joins a forest track.
(7) A gentle descent along the road, passing the Source de Bédina, to return to the resort and then the car park (S/E).
