The hike starts at the arrival point of the Chamois chairlift, which you will need to take to begin the hike.
(S) From the chairlift, start descending towards Lac de la Jasse, taking care to avoid the mountain bike trails, where cyclists can come down very fast.
(1) When you reach Lac de la Jasse, head towards the Lac ski lift and take the path that starts nearby, to the left of the track. Although it is fairly gentle at first, the descent becomes steeper as you progress.
(2) Look for a gap in the fence on the left, which marks the start of a small path that descends gently between the pine trees. Once again, watch out for mountain bike trails that regularly cross this path. The path ends a little further down, merging with a very small stream which, although it does not have enough water to wet more than the soles of your shoes, will make the stones slippery enough to require extra caution.
(3) When you reach Gros Cailloux, take the path that branches off to the right. Follow it straight ahead until you reach the Chalet des Cortillets and the arrival point of the Bouquetins chairlift.
(4) Continue straight ahead, passing the arrival point of the chairlift, while following the path that then descends towards the departure point of the Lac chairlift.
(5) At the Lac chairlift, take the path to the left and descend to Prapoutel (E).
