To the north-east of Ceillac, take the small Cristillan road for 2.7 km to park near the hamlet of Rabinoux and its chapel, which can be seen high up on the left.
(S/E) Take the track to the east. After three hairpin bends, before the hut and at the yellow marker post, leave the track and turn right onto the footpath. Head northwards uphill and you’ll easily reach the hamlet of Rabinoux and its chapel.
(1) Join theGR®®58and turn right onto it. At the next set of forks, leave the paths to Les Chalmettes, then Le Touret and La Cabane de Lacas on your right, but continue left, still on theGR®® (direction not signposted). Continue through the woods and then across the mountain pasture before reaching the Carrefour Sous les Estronques junction (at around 2,519 m).
(2) Continue to the right (signposted) towards the Col des Estronques and Saint-Véran. Reach the Col des Estronques.
(3) From the pass, take the path climbing up to the right to reach the summit of the Tête de Jacquette, marked by a large cairn.
(4) Begin the return journey by following the same route in the opposite direction to reach the car park (S/E).
