La Comté, car park on Rue de l'Église.
(S/E) Head north for 20 metres to reach Grand Rue. Follow it to the right until you reach a T-junction (opposite the stadium, now locked up tight!). Turn left, following the GR®127, into Rue du Moulin. Cross the Lawe (waterfall) and reach the D86. Continue straight ahead and climb with the GR®127 for 1.5 km to reach a T-junction.
(1) Leave the GR®. Take the path on the right. At the end of the path, turn right along the edge of the field. After 200 metres, turn left, then right again to join a wide path. After a good kilometre, you will reach a crossroads.
(2) Continue straight ahead (south). At the three-way junction, follow the path on the right and continue to the D 74.
Follow it to the right, ignore the first path on the left and, 200 m further on, find a second one.
(3) Turn left onto this path, which is quite difficult going downhill and sometimes very wet in the lower part: you may find yourself walking in the stream! At the bottom, turn left and you will reach a small road.
(4) Continue straight ahead to reach Rue des Allobroges. Then turn left and arrive at the cemetery. Just before it, take the path going up to the right.
(5) At the top, turn right. Follow the path along the ridge and you will reach a crossroads. Continue straight ahead on the D83 for 200 m.
(6) At the three-way junction, take the path on the right. Turn right at a 90° angle and continue for another 1 km.
(7) Don't miss the pretty path on the left (be careful, it's not very visible) which descends towards the Lawe near its source. Follow the small road on the left (Rue de la Lawe). Climb gently and turn into thefirst path on the right to reach the D86 downhill. Follow it on the left, ignore the path on the right and continue for 100 m.
(8) At the end of the bend, take the path on the left edge of the woods (do not be tempted by the previous path that crosses the woods). At the crossroads before Monchy-Breton, turn right and continue to a crossroads (calvary).
(9) Leave the road on your right, take the path opposite (north-east) and follow it to a T-junction where you will find the GR®.
(10) Turn right and continue for 700 m until you reach thefirst path on the left. Leave the GR®. Turn left onto this path and continue until you reach a crossroads.
(11) Turn onto the path on the left. It veers to the right, crosses the Bois de Bajus and joins a small road. Follow it to the left for 500 metres, then turn right into Rue de la Gare. Join a small road, follow it to the left for a few metres to reach the old Bajus station (it is marked on the sign).
(12) Take the old railway line on the right and follow it to the D86E2.
(13) Cross it and continue on the footbridge to the bridge (about 400 metres).
(14) Cross the bridge to find a staircase on the left leading to the path below. Pass under the bridge and continue along the wide path (heading south to reach the first houses of La Comté.
(15) At the fork, take the grassy path on the left (south-east). Cross the Bajus via the footbridge and reach the houses.
(16) Turn right, then immediately left onto the wide grassy path to walk along the gardens and reach a small road. Follow it to the left, turn immediately right and reach a left-hand bend.
(17) Leave the road and follow the path on the right (wagon track). Join Grand Rue. Follow it on the left and turn immediately right to reach the car park (S/E).
