Le hazois à Beugin

Start from the car park on Rue de la Place.

(S/E) Leave the car park, turn right onto Rue du Rivage, then right onto Rue du Mont Durand until you reach a junction with a path.

(1) Continue straight on along Rue du Mont Durand until it ends.

(2) Turn right, then, at the four-way junction, turn left and continue straight on until you reach the D86E2.

(3) Cross it carefully andhead straight across onto Chemin de Lille. Take two long left-hand bends to reach a crossroads.

(4) Turn right and continue along this road, making a 90° right-hand bend followed by a left-hand bend. At the sewage treatment plant, go straight on until you reach the D941.

(5) Cross it carefully and take Rue de l'Europe opposite, before continuing straight on to Rue Monseigneur Eloy.

(6) Keep to the right, then left onto Rue de l’Église, and left again to cross the cemetery and reach Rue du Baudet.

(7) Turn right, then left onto Rue de Brunemont until you reach the D941.

(8) Follow it to the left, then cross carefully at number 503 and take the path opposite to Rue d’en Haut.

(9) Keep left and continue straight on until you reach the buildings of Château du Mont and Chemin du Bois du Mont.

(10) Turn left and continue straight on until you reach a four-way junction.

(11) Cross over and head straight ahead, then continue to the right until you reach the hamlet of Épenin.

(12) Follow the path to the right, then just before the bridge, turn left up the fairly steep slope and join the Hazois path, which you should follow to the left until you reach a fork.

(13) Continue to the right, then to the left, and follow the Lawe on your right until the next junction.

(14) Turn left, then right onto the Sentier du Hazois until you reach the original junction from the outward journey.

(1) Continue to the right and return to the car park (S/E).
