Access: From Fouesnant, take the D44 towards Bénodet, passing the Chapelle de Perguet. At the Pont Henvez roundabout, leave the road to Bénodet and take the last exit on the left towards Mousterlin.
After about 600 m, at the Kerler Beach sign, turn right and continue straight on to the car park. This narrow road, with a speed limit of 50 km/h, is busy in summer and in good weather as it leads to the beach and the start of walking trails.
GR®34trail markers (white and red)
(S/E) With your back to the car park, carefully drive back along the access road for about 600 m and turn left onto the first path marked by two boulders.
GR®34(white and red) +PR® (blue) markings
(1) Take this path, leaving Kerouen on your left (theGR® route is inaccurate at this point). Follow a pasture area along a fence on the left, then wooded embankments. You will reach a small road at a barrier.
(2) Turn left and follow this road straight ahead, which leads to a car park (viewpoint over the lagoon). Turn right after the car park and continue along the well-marked path that runs along the bottom of the cove. Pass a developed area (decking) and continue.
Please note that there is a slight discrepancy between the route and the purple line on the map. New paths have been opened that are not yet marked on the maps.
(3) At the crossroads, after a barrier, turn left and continue along the path which continues towards the bottom of the cove, then turn left.
(4) Turn left again to go up the other side of the cove.
Leave a wide path reserved for bicycles and horses on your right. Continue along a large private property clearly marked by a fence. Pass the bird observatory and reach a road near a car park (viewpoint over the Mer Blanche).
Off the marked trail
(5) Cross the car park and follow the edge of the Mer Blanche to reach Beg ar Garrec, skirting around some beautiful properties for about 500 metres. (alternative route, see practical information) At a barrier, turn right into Rue Hent Beg Ar Garrec and you will reach a small road. (If you are unable to follow the coastline due to the tide, follow the road to reach the crossroads directly.

(6) When you find the markings, turn left and follow this small country road heading north-east until you reach the first roundabout.
PR® Blue markings
(7) Turn right, leaving theGR®34trail to your left. Continue to the next roundabout, cross it, continue straight ahead and you will reach the recently renovated Saint-Sébastien Chapel.
No markings
(8) Turn right and follow the road that runs alongside a riding centre on the left. Continue to the end of the road, marked by a barrier.
(3) At the crossroads of paths encountered on the way there, leave the bottom of the cove on your right and turn left. At the barrier, follow the path that runs alongside a meadow and reach a small road.
(9) Turn right and follow this road for about 250 metres.
Markings:GR®34(white and red) +PR® (blue)
(2) At the barrier, turn left and follow the same route as on the way there. In this direction, the blue markings (in the opposite direction) are less visible, but there is no problem with the GR® markings.
(1) Continue straight ahead to the car park (S/E).
