At the entrance to Bénodet via the D34 coming from Quimper, take the D44 towards Fouesnant. At the place called Kerveil, look for a lay-by on the left to park.
(S/E). From the car park, walk along the D44 for about 100 metres, then cross it with extreme caution (no protected crossing) and take the road opposite (information sign on the route). Look for a beautiful wash house on the left, then walk about 10 metres.
Marker post marked Rose: Anse du Petit Moulin
Take this small path which winds its way through marshy areas and leads to a car park where you join theGR® 34.
GR® 34 marked in white and red + route: Anse du Petit Moulin (Rose)
(2) Pass a fountain and a wash house on your left and continue along the path bordering a marshy area, which leads to the dyke closing off Anse du Petit Moulin. Cross it and, at the end, leave theGR® to continue straight ahead into the pine forest and arrive at the decking area where you will find theGR® again.
(3) Take this beautiful boardwalk across the bottom of the cove: be careful in wet weather as the boards can be slippery. Continue along a path that goes around the cove and continues along a stretch of tarmac road.
GR® 34 marked in white and red
(4) At the crossroads, opposite the Letty lodge, turn left and continue along a beautiful path overlooking the cove until you reach a lovely grassy area with picnic tables at the tip.
(5) Continue along the top of the seafront facing the Dune Domaniale de Mousterlin, pass a street where the nautical centre is located, then a lake on your right. You will arrive at the beach just before the Camping le Letty campsite.
(6) At the sign indicating the high tide alternative route, leave the coastline via the street on the right, turn right at the first fork following the markings and continue along the same street until you reach the left-hand bend.
(7) Turn right onto a dirt track that descends towards a small lake (the purple route of theGR® alternative is no longer accurate). Return to the seafront and follow it to the left until you reach the water sports centre.
Leave the seafront on the left, going up the street where the nautical centre is located, and reach a roundabout.
Turn right onto this small cul-de-sac signposted Hent Beg Groasguen (Rue de la Pointe de Groasguen) and follow it to the end.
(5) Cross the car park and retrace your steps along the route you took on the way out until you reach the sign indicating the alternative route.
(4) Turn right onto the path through the grass and follow the edge of the cove as closely as possible.
NB: this alternative route is not possible at high tide and may be very wet in winter.
Rejoin the outward route and pass the decking
(3) Turn right to follow the path as close as possible to the bottom of the cove, cross the dyke and continue along the outward route.
(2) Continue along theGR® on the small road that climbs uphill, then leave it and go straight on to the D44. Cross with extreme caution (no protected crossing) then turn left to return to the car park (S/E).
