Description of the walk

Access: From Fouesnant, take the D44 towards Bénodet, passing the Chapelle de Perguet. At the Pont Henvez roundabout, leave the road to Bénodet and take the last exit on the left towards Mousterlin. Continue to the headland, where you will see a large car park on the left.

(S/E) From the car park, return to the road, cross it carefully and take the dead-end road behind the Hôtel de la Pointe.

(1) Turn left under the pine trees onto the second path, which leads to the trail at the top of the dune.
Follow this north-west facing path towards Kerler Beach. Walk along Mousterlin Beach and its riprap, ignoring the various passages that lead down behind the dune. You will arrive within sight of Kerler Beach. Descend to the path behind the dune and climb up to the left for a view of the beach and the dune cordon.

(6) At the crossroads, turn left and continue towards the end of the cove. Turn left at a right angle. Please note that there is a slight difference between the route and the purple line on the map. New paths have been opened and theGR® route has been modified.

PR® (Blue)

(7) Leave theGR® trail continuing along the edge of the ria and turn right to head north to a roundabout. Turn right and arrive at the Saint-Sébastien Chapel, renovated in 2013 after 12 years of volunteer work, an ideal place for a break. Also note the small house near the chapel.

No markings

(8) At the first road, turn right towards a horse boarding facility, pass it and continue on this small road which turns right and then heads south to a junction of paths.

(6) Turn left and continue along the path that runs alongside a field and leads to a road.

(9) Follow this road to the right, which leads to the Mer Blanche car park. You will reach the path you took on the way there.

Notes

Toilets at Pointe de Mousterlin and Kerler Beach.
The surface has been resurfaced for bicycles, hence the sharing of the route.
Please note: between (2) and (3), the small road is very busy during the summer and at weekends (access to the beach and popular spots for seaside walks).

Depending on the tide, it is also possible to walk along the beach to (2).
There are numerous passages connecting these different options.

For a longer route, you can combine it with La Mer Blanche near Mousterlin.

A very beautiful hike in cold, dry weather. One spot was quite wet along the white coastline, but otherwise very passable.

I love varied landscapes combining sea, countryside, woods and beautiful houses. On this hike, the landscape is always the same.

A pleasant hike with sunshine and shade along the entire route, very enjoyable at this time of year. Finish the hike and walk in the sea to cool your calves.
