Circuit from Champ Floux to Vatilieu
This is a pleasant walk. You will pass through walnut groves and the valleys of the Chambarans foothills, enjoy the undergrowth and, at the end, take in the exceptional views of the Pre-Alps and the Alps, all enhanced by the sculptures of the "Arts aux 4 vents" at the end of the trail.
From Izeaux to Notre-Dame de la Croix
From the village of Izeaux, you climb up to the Domaine de Parménie where you can admire the charming Chapelle de Notre-Dame de la Croix. From the orientation table, you will have a panoramic view from the Mont du Chat in the Ain to the peaks of the north-east of the Vercors.
At the edge of the woods, discover the village of Izeaux
This is a fairly short trail through the village of Izeaux. It takes you around the centre of the village, and offers some lovely views of the village.Take a few 'tracolets' through the heart of the village, and you'll discover some of the remarkable features of Izeaux.
In Mandrin country
Wind through the valleys between Brion and Saint-Michel-de-Saint-Geoirs, then climb up to the ridge where you will have 360° views of Mezenc, Pilat, the Plaine de la Bièvre, the Chartreuse, Belledone, and the Vercors.
End by walking through Mouillasson forest to get back to your vehicle.
La Vie des Terres and La Planche d'Enfer starting from Sillans
A very easy short walk. The only difficulty is a short hill.
In the first part, you will enjoy beautiful views of the Chartreuse mountains. In the middle, you will cross the pretty village of Izeaux, then return along a pleasant wooded path, skirting a beautiful private lake.

Chambaran - From Etang Fouaty to Chapelle Saint-Alban
The first part of the walk takes place in the coolness of the Chambaran forest. Then you walk along the ridge and enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
La Vernerette Circular
A bucolic hike in the Chambaran with superb views of the Vercors and, in particular, the Grand Veymont.
The hamlet of Les Monts and the Gorges du Gorgonnet
Please note: due to a major landslide, this hike is currently not possible.
You start by walking along the Isère river through walnut trees. You then climb up the foothills of the Vercors, before returning via the Gaffe footbridge and the wild, steep-sided Gorgonnet gorges.
The Gorges du Gorgonnet
This hike will take you into the charming Gorges du Gorgonnet. It is a family-friendly route. However, caution is advised. Although the trail is wide and comfortable, there are no guardrails in some places, so keep an eye on children. At the end of the gorges, they can enjoy a natural swimming pool with particularly clear (and cold) water.
The Marais and the Château de La Frette
A short walk down to the Bièvre plain and then back up to mid-slope. This route is not difficult, except for a short steep climb on leaving Saint-Hilaire.
Notre-Dame de la Salette - Château de la Villardière via Combe Noire
This hike starts at the northern edge of the Bièvre plain, along theGR®65. It then leads to the moraine to discover the Chapelle de la Salette, nestled in the woods. Finally, the return journey is via the Château de la Villardière, where you will have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.
Murinais, Chambaran, Le Gollard circular loop
This hike is a little long, but it offers beautiful views of the Chartreuse, the Vercors and the countryside of the Chambarans foothills.
For those who dislike tarmac, a quarter of the route is on country roads, which are paved but have very little traffic!
From Saint-Hilaire-de-la-Côte to the airport
A short, easy walk in the heart of the Bièvre plain. You’ll enjoy views of the surrounding peaks: Chartreuse, Vercors, Pilat.
Halfway along the route, you’ll walk alongside the runway at Saint-Geoirs Airport and may be lucky enough to see a plane taking off or landing.
