La Combe Reboud from Criel

Park in the car park of the former school in Criel.

(S/E) With your back to the school, head left to follow the Chemin du Marais Fleury. At the next junction (cross), turn right onto the Chemin des Combes, which passes through pastures, orchards and walnut groves. Walk for about 800 m until you reach the junction with another farm track at a place called Les Bruyères.

(1) Take the faint path straight ahead and slightly to the right. This crosses the hill and descends onto a tarmac road; follow it to the left to reach the junction with the Route de Vourey. Turn right towards the farms.

(2) Just before reaching it, turn left onto the gently ascending track, passing through fields, chestnut groves and orchards. Keep to the right at the three-way junction about a hundred metres further on and reach the hamlet of Bois Vert de Charnècles.

(3) Turn right, walk for about 150 m, then turn right again to take the path in the opposite direction to the one taken previously. Return to Route de Vourey.

(2) Follow the outward route in the opposite direction to return to the car park at the old school (S/E).
