(S/E) Departure: Vizzavona train station. Go up the road to the right (southwest).
(1) Keep the Vizzavona bivouac on your right and continue until you reach a large wooden sign marked "GR®20Nord –GR®20Sud – Cascade des Anglais".
(2) Turn right (west) towards Cascade des Anglais. The path passes several crossroads; follow the signs and the white and red markings.
(3) Turn right at a right angle (north-west) onto the "Parcours thématique des pins Laricio" (with explanatory signs). These trees grow in an ancient glacial moraine. The route should rejoin the main path, but as it is poorly maintained, we turn back.
(3) Return to the white and red markings and continue to the right (south-west).
Stay along the left bank of the Agnone stream. Several large piles of stones stand in the middle of the path. At the third pile, at the foot of a large Laricio pine tree, you will find the only poorly marked crossroads. White-red signposting.
(4) Turn right at a right angle and continue to the footbridge and refreshment bar.
(5) Contrary to what the IGN map indicates, there is no path on the left bank (north). Cross to the opposite bank (right bank, south side) and continue following the white-red markings to the right (west).
Cross some pretty pools that are ideal for swimming. Either follow the riverbed from pool to pool (more adventurous) or follow the markings to a large cairn next to some large flat rocks (more difficult), then continue to a waterfall that is higher than the others (about ten metres). You will reach the Cascade des Anglais.
(6) Start your return journey along the same route to reach Vizzavona Station (S/E).
