Description of the walk

At the start of this walk, you’ll find a huge car park at the Col de Vizzavona, easily accessible from the road.
As the path is in an area prone to wildfires, please take note of the conditions displayed at the start (colour-coded system). The terrain is challenging in places (rocky sections) and there is a significant climb right from the start.

(S/E) At the information sign, follow the path due north.

(1) Pass by Fort de Vizzavona, then turn left. The rest of the path is clearly visible and shaded. This will take you to the Waterfall des Anglais.

(2) Once there, you’ll find the famous waterfall and numerous natural pools where you can take a dip in the cool water.
Turn back and follow the same route you took on the way there to return to the car park (S/E).

A fairly easy walk as it’s short, but you’ll still need suitable footwear for this time of year (there’s a rocky section and a slippery sandy section in the woods). Some people actually turn up in flip-flops!!!!!
We came across lots of people along the way and at the finish. It’s no longer a hiking spot but a beach
