Description of the walk

(S/E) Set off from the cemetery car park and head towards the village, but turn right straight away onto a path that takes you onto Rue de la Rouche after crossing the River Aulne.

(1) Turn right and walk alongside the road. You’ll pass a large field on your right, where you might spot the first ponies, then turn right onto a gently ascending path.

(2) You’ll then walk alongside a large open space with two large farm buildings that were originally a chicken farm and have been converted to house ponies resting between rides for children in Parisian parks and gardens. They’re brought here in a large, locally famous green lorry! You’re more likely to spot them during the week than at the weekend, when they’re hard at work in Paris! Carry on uphill until you reach the junction.

(3) You then turn right onto a straight path that winds down alongside a large field where you can sometimes spot herds of does. The path takes you back to the cemetery car park (S/E).
