Description of the walk

Starting point: Bouret-sur-Canche, nice car park near the school.

(S/E) Head south to join the D339. Follow it for a few metres on the left and take the first street on the right. Stay on this small road, which turns into a path about 2 km further on. Ignore all the paths on the left and continue to a crossroads.

(1) Continue straight ahead on a wide grassy, even very grassy path. Ignore a path on the left (see practical information), another on the right and reach the junction with the D84.

(2) Follow it for a few metres to the right, then turn left and immediately left again to take the old railway line (barrier). Stay on this beautiful, well-shaded path.

(3) At the junction with the D53 (isolated house, barriers), continue straight ahead on the old railway line.

(4) At the next junction (barrier), leave the railway line and turn right onto a small road that leads to the D339. Ignore a path on the left and continue to a junction

(5) Turn left onto GR® 121 and follow it for a while. Reach a small road that branches off to the right.

(6) Follow this small road and reach the D 339. Cross it and continue straight ahead (GR®). A little further on, take a path on the left (GR®) and reach Rue de l'Église. Follow it on the right, pass in front of the church and reach a T-junction.

Notes

This is an easy hike, but you should still be well equipped

You can also take the path on the left to cross "Le Grand Hairon" and rejoin the route just before point 1. It's not much longer and I think the final section is wilder (but quite grassy).

Note: this hike can easily be combined with the "De la Canche au Bois de Mortagne" hike, making a route of about 23 km.

There is a small playground near the bridge (after point 9) which is a pleasant place for a picnic.
