Starting point: Bouret-sur-Canche, a good car park near the school.
(S/E) Head south to join the D339. Follow it for a few metres to the left and take the first street on the right. Cross the old railway line and you’ll reach a Fork in the road.
(1) Turn left to cross the Grand Hairon: a long, gentle climb through the fields. The path eventually turns right to reach a T-junction.
(2) Turn left and you’ll reach a junction.
(3) Continue straight ahead along a wide grassy, or rather very grassy, path to join the D84.
(4) Follow it for a few metres to the right, then turn left and immediately left again to take the old railway line (barrier). Stay on this lovely, well-shaded path.
(5) At the junction with the D53 (detached house, barriers), carry on straight ahead, still following the old railway line.
(6) At the next junction (barrier), leave the railway line and turn right onto a small road leading to the D339. Ignore a path on the left and continue to a junction,
(7) Turn left onto the GR® 121, which you will follow for quite some time. You’ll reach a small road branching off to the right.
(8) Follow this small road until you reach the D339. Cross it and continue straight on (GR®). A little further on, take a path on the left (GR®) and reach Rue de l’Église. Follow it to the right, pass in front of the church and reach a T-junction.
(9) Follow the D84 to the left (GR®®). After a few metres, turn left withthe GR®® onto a lovely ascending path which will take you to the Notre-Dame de Bon Secours Chapel (with a pretty statue inside).
(10) A few metres past the chapel, take a grassy path on the left that descends steeply. You’ll reach a small road which you follow to the right as far as Bouret Church.
(11) At the church, turn left and cross the Canche to return to the car park (S/E).
