Park in the car park at the top of Ménez Hom.
GR®37trail markings (white and red): very discreet
(S/E) From the car park, take a path through the vegetation. Follow it downhill in a south-westerly direction, keeping your eyes on the summit called Hielc'h (298m), which is dominated by a wooden pole bearing an anemometer and a small solar panel. Continue straight downhill until you reach a flat area.
(1) Go around the summit on the left and then leave theGR® trail, which descends steeply.
No markings
(2) You will easily reach the summit, where you can enjoy views of Douarnenez Bay and Cap de la Chèvre, one of the points of the Crozon Peninsula.
Now begin the descent (watch out for sharp rocks) and follow a discreet path through the vegetation in a north-westerly direction. Join a path descending from the right (GR®37)
(:3) At the wind sock, turn left to complete the descent.
(4) At the next crossroads, at the bottom, turn right towards the Trégarvan Communal Forest.
Markings:GR® Yellow and Red +PR® Yellow.
(5) At the next crossroads, at the entrance to the pine forest, leave aPR® opposite and turn left to follow theGR®37(indicated by Route de Lost ar Run VTT5). Cross a pine forest where you can still see traces of the 2006 fire. Cut across a small road and reach the hamlet of Kerfréval.

(6) At the first houses, follow the small road opposite which leads to the D60.
turn right onto the small road, then left onto the first path.
The purple route is no longer accurate: the path has become private.

(7) Turn right and follow this road carefully for about 700 m until you reach a path on the left before a bend.
PR® Yellow
(8) Turn left onto the carriageway and descend along the Anse de Ster ar Pont Men to reach the Aulne, which you follow to the right towards the Trégarvan slipway.
(9) Go around the Church of Saint-Budoc, a beautiful 16th-17th century building surrounded by its cemetery, and cross the village. Just before the town hall, turn left onto a path that continues along a street serving a few houses and turn right at the second street to rejoin the main road.
No signposts
(10) Turn left into Impasse Pen ar Palud and continue straight ahead along the farm track that leads to the bank where the Aulne river meanders (viewpoint).
(11) Retrace your steps back to the road.
(10) Follow it to the left, leaving the access road to Keryé on your left.
YellowPR®
(12) Take the next road on the left and head towards Kergantic. Cross it and rejoin the D60, which you take to the left for about 200 m.
(13) Just before a ruin with a section of chimney remaining, turn right and follow the path uphill. Ignore the paths to the right and left to rejoin a small road. Turn right towards Kernévez.
(14) Before the hamlet, turn left onto a path to join another road at a reservoir. Follow this road to the right.
(15) At a three-way junction, leave the road continuing towards Kervily and take the path on the right. Follow it uphill until you reach a crossroads (barrier)
(16) Leave the mainPR® path on the right and turn left for 50 metres, then turn right onto a new PR® path. Follow this path and leave thePR® when it turns left (protected area sign)

(17) At the barrier and the sign prohibiting motorised vehicles, continue straight ahead (south-west). After a wetland area, and before the water sources, turn right and go uphill. A little further up, join a new PR®.
Yellow markings.
(18) First turn left then right and climb up through an area of pine trees also marked by fire. To the east, there is a vast panorama of the Châteaulin Basin and its wind farms. The path becomes more stony (Armorican sandstone) and winds its way through the bare moorland.
(19) At a flat section, leave the path leading to a summit (267 m) on your right and turn left to begin the steepest climb along a stony path. Reach Le Yed, the main summit of Ménez Hom at 330 m. Panoramic view of the Aulne valley, the new Térenez Bridge and, on a clear day, the city of Brest. Descend to return to the car park (S/E).
