Park in the car park at the start of the first Vita trail, Route de la Brosse.
(S/E) Walk around this and return to the starting point. Do not cross the bridge over the Reigne but turn right onto the tarmac road (Route d’Amblans) which runs alongside the leisure area and continue straight on, passing close to the tennis courts and the stadium.
(1) Continue straight on to the end of the road in the Bois de la Chasseigne.
(2) At the junction, turn right: the road on the left is quickly blocked off as it leads to the Faurécia factory. Cross the small bridge and follow the Vy-lès-Lure fitness trail along the stony path to the entrance, which is about 600 m further on.
(3) Walk around the entrance in an anti-clockwise direction and return to the entrance.
(3) Turn left onto the stony path again until you reach the junction, where you should turn left onto Rue des Deux Ponts: don’t miss the old mill on the right. Cross the bridge and continue to the D486.
(4) Turn left and walk carefully along the left-hand side of the road towards Lure. You will reach the Voie Verte.
(5) Take the Voie Verte on your left and stay on it until the fourth exit.
(6) Turn left, follow Rue du Moulin with views of the dam and the mill, then Quai de la Reigne to the end, following the river.
(7) Turn right onto the bridge crossing the Reigne: views of the leisure area and the wash house, with numerous swans present all year round.
At the roundabout, head slightly to the right to return to the car park, but don’t forget to stop and admire the wash house before setting off again (S/E).
