Starting point and access: Bois-Colombes station.
- Transilien - Line J, on the section between Paris-Saint-Lazare and Ermont-Eaubonne or Mantes-la-Jolie via Conflans. Take the Rue d'Estienne d'Orves exit at the front of the train when coming from Paris.

(S/E) When leaving the station, turn left. At the traffic lights immediately ahead, turn left onto Rue du Général Leclerc. At the intersection with Villa des Aubépines, turn right. Take a pedestrian alleyway and walk as close as possible to the church on your left. At the end of the alley and in front of the Salle Jean Renoir, turn right into a narrow street and walk past the Municipal Police building. Note the belfry of the Town Hall rising above the rooftops opposite.
At the end of the alley, turn left into Villa du Château. Leave this pedestrian path through a gate and follow Rue Paul Déroulède to the right. Cross Rue Carnot on the right, then Rue Félix Braquet. Enter Square Émile Tricon and turn right immediately after passing through the gate. Walk along a playground on your left and pass through another gate. Turn left and walk past a memorial to General de Gaulle. You will come out onto Rue Auguste Moreau. Turn right and walk along this street. Pass under the belfry and you will arrive at the Town Hall square.
(1) Turn left onto Rue Charles Duflos. There are two possible return trips in the cul-de-sacs on the right-hand side:
- at the corner of No. 24, in the Villa des Glycines;
- at the corner of No. 30, in the Villa des Roses, lined with brick houses, which curves to the left before ending.
Continue along Rue Charles Duflos and, at the corner of No. 47, turn left through the entrance gate to Avenue Robert Bain. Go straight ahead along this road lined with pretty houses and a brick school. At the end, go through the exit gate (the same style as the entrance gate), return to Rue Paul Déroulède and follow it to the right.
At No. 95, turn right into Square Franklin Roosevelt. Follow a tarmac path and then go around a large brick building on the right. Continue straight ahead on the tarmac and leave the square through a gate. Then first turn right then left to follow Rue Géraldy.
(2) At number 9, turn left into Villa Parmentier, a path between two walls. Go through a chicane and immediately turn right onto Avenue du Sergent Gillard (not signposted here). At the end, turn right. At the traffic lights, take thesecond left, Rue Leconte. Go straight ahead, cross the bridge over the railway line and continue along Rue Jean Brunet.
Before the traffic lights, turn left onto Avenue Calmes. At number 5, turn right. At the end, turn left then right onto Rue de Villers. At the end, turn right onto Rue Diderot. This leads onto Rue Cuny, which you should follow to the left.
(3) At the end, turn right onto Rue Hoche. Continue straight ahead, with two possible round trips to dead ends:
- right after about 50 metres, into the short Avenue Hoche;
- left at the municipal gymnasium, into Avenue des Marronniers.
Continue along Rue Hoche, noting the fenced Villa Hoche on the left, and you will come to a crossroads. Turn left onto Rue Charles Chefson. At the next crossroads, go straight ahead and cross an esplanade alongside a shopping centre (Place Jean Mermoz).
(4) At the end of the esplanade, turn right onto Rue de l'Abbé Jean Glatz. Follow this street to its end, with four possible round trips in the cul-de-sacs on the left-hand side:
- after about 50 metres, into Avenue du Lieutenant Richard, with a short passage under "foliage";
- at No. 13, into an unnamed lane;
- immediately afterwards, into Villa Baudoin;
- immediately after, in Villa Cadoux Girault.
Finally, you will come out onto Avenue Charles de Gaulle and follow it to the left. At the end, turn right onto Avenue d'Argenteuil (busy). At the corner of No. 223, you can turn right into Villa des Roses.
(5) At the corner of a bakery, turn right onto Avenue des Chambards (beautiful houses). At the end, first turn right then left to follow Avenue Walter. At the end, turn left into a cul-de-sac. Retrace your steps and continue along the street in the wrong direction.
At the T-junction, rejoin Avenue Charles de Gaulle and follow it to the right. At the next junction, turn left onto Rue Adolphe Guyot. This will take you to another junction.
(6) Then turn left onto Rue du 14 Juillet. Two return trips are possible in the cul-de-sacs on the left-hand side:
- at the corner of No. 8, in the Villa des Lilas;
- at the corner of No. 6, in Avenue Georges Hecq, which is abundantly decorated with bamboo.
At the end of Rue du 14 Juillet, first turn right then left to follow Avenue Savoye. Continue straight ahead along this road lined with large houses, then small houses on the right-hand side and finally apartment buildings.
(7) At the end, turn left onto Rue Victor Hugo. At the traffic lights, turn right onto Rue d'Estienne d'Orves. Continue straight ahead and, shortly before the end of the street, you will find Bois-Colombes station on your left (S/E).
