Starting point and access: Louise Michel underground station.

(S) At the top of the escalator, turn 180° and follow Rue Anatole France towards a roundabout. When you reach it, turn right onto Rue Jacques Ibert. Takethe second right, Rue Danton. At the corner of a square, note Françoise Dolto and singer Carlos (her son) on the left, each at a window.
Immediately afterwards, turn left into Square Danton. Turn left straight away towards a pseudo-gatehouse where Bourvil welcomes you. Then walk alongside a large animal fresco: giraffes and hippopotamuses, lions and elephants, etc. Continue around the square clockwise and exit onto Rue Danton.
(1) Follow the street to the left and cross Rue Louise Michel. Take the next left, Rue Marceau, then thefirst right, Rue Camille Desmoulins. At the end, turn left onto Rue Louis Rouquier, then immediately right onto Rue Chaptal.
At the next intersection, turn left onto Rue Aristide Briand. At the end, follow Rue de Villiers to the right. Cross Rue Barbès on the right-hand side, then Rue Voltaire.
(2) Immediately afterwards, cross Rue de l'Aspirant Dargent and, about twenty metres further on, at the entrance to a car park, note the fresco depicting Venice on the right. Continue for a few more metres and turn right into Square Jean-Pierre Gratzer to enjoy a view of the entire fresco.
Retrace your steps to the junction with Rue de l'Aspirant Dargent.
(2) Follow this street to the left. At the end, turn right onto Rue Chaptal. At the next intersection, turn left onto Rue Voltaire. On the left-hand side, at number 19, turn around and you will see a boy and a girl at the window. Shortly afterwards, you will see a perspective with figures on a staircase.
At the next intersection, turn left onto Rue Danton and pass between a secondary school (on the left) and a primary school (on the right). At the corner of the school, turn right onto Rue Bara (pedestrian street). At the end, turn left. At the next intersection, turn right onto Rue Kléber. Cross Rue Anatole France and continue straight ahead.
At the T-junction, note the building on the left with a façade that gives the illusion of relief. Then turn right onto Rue Carnot. Admire the hot air balloon on the right-hand side. Cross Rue Voltaire and continue straight ahead for about 50 metres.
(3) Turn left onto Rue Hoche. At the end, note a neighbour at the window on the right-hand side. Then turn left and, at the corner behind the Town Hall, go through a small gate on the right. Walk along the right-hand side of the Town Hall and turn right at the corner. At the entrance, turn left. Cross the street and continue straight ahead into a pedestrian street.
Cross Rue du Président Wilson and note a portrait of General de Gaulle on the left. Continue along the avenue that bears his name and pass the monument to the martyrs of the Second World War. Note a trompe-l'oeil on the right-hand side where the reflections of the landscape are visible in the windows.
Then turn right onto Rue Rivay. Go straight ahead and cross Rue Aristide Briand, then Rue Louis Rouquier. At the end, first turn right then left onto Rue Louis Blanc. Then enter Parc Gustave Eiffel.
(4) At the intersection, turn left and look to your left to see the Eiffel Tower (largely hidden by vegetation) and then the Statue of Liberty. Walk along the buildings on your right and, at the crossroads, turn left between the flower beds. At the next intersection, go straight ahead. Note the windows and the Garabit Viaduct high up on the right. Continue straight ahead and exit the park.
You will come out onto Rue Jean Jaurès. Turn right and follow the street. Cross Rue Jules Guesde and immediately after, take the small gate on the right to enter Impasse Genouville. At the entrance to Parc Youri Gagarine, turn around and look at the hanging garden. Then retrace your steps and go back through the gate.
Follow Rue Jean Jaurès to the right. After about 50 metres, turn around to see the trompe-l'oeil with a fountain (behind the porch). Continue along Rue Jean Jaurès. At No. 89, turn left, walk past a florist's shop, and turn left again into Rue Louis Rouquier.
(5) After a few dozen metres, turn right into Square Édith de Villepin (steps and clock on the right). Follow a tarmac path, cross a bridge, continue on the tarmac and leave the square. Cross Rue Aristide Briand and continue opposite on Rue Raspail.
At Place Jean Zay, turn left onto Rue Pierre Brossolette. After about 50 metres, turn right and enter Square Marjolin. At the fork immediately ahead, take the right-hand path and walk alongside a playground on your left. At the crossroads, go straight ahead and, at the end of the path, leave the square.
Then turn right onto Rue Camille Pelletan. At number 26, admire a reimagined version of Romeo and Juliet. At the next intersection, turn left onto Rue Raspail. At the next intersection, note the yellow house on the right.
Then turn left onto Rue Paul Vaillant-Couturier. Continue straight ahead and note the waterfall on the left at No. 66, the porch at No. 64, and the flower-filled balconies at No. 58. Continue straight ahead, cross Rue Édouard Vaillant, Rue Rivay and, at the traffic lights, Rue du Président Wilson.
(6) Enter the Parc de la Planchette. Opposite a white building, turn left and go through another gate. Immediately afterwards, take the curved path on the right that runs alongside a flowerbed with an arbour on the left. At the crossroads, turn right. Shortly afterwards, on a cement surface, turn right and leave a playground on your left.
At a fork (bust of Louis Rouquier), turn right. Go around the roundabout with a sculpture in honour of aviator Maryse Hilsz, and continue straight ahead, passing a white gatehouse on your left. At the next crossroads, go straight ahead, passing a pond on your left, and take the park exit on your right.
Follow Rue des Marronniers (pedestrianised) and note the building windows on your left. Then find Rue Paul Vaillant-Couturier and follow it to the left. At the crossroads, go straight ahead.
At the next intersection, turn right onto Rue Anatole France. After about 50 metres, turn around to your left to see a woman on her balcony. Continue along Rue Anatole France and you will soon come to the entrance to the Pont de Levallois - Bécon metro station (E).
