Park in the car park at Manoir de Traounez (estuary house).
(S/E) Pass under the railway viaduct and at the first crossroads, turn left under the sequoias. Immediately turn left onto the hillside path along the Trieux until you reach the junction with a path under the pine trees.
(1) Turn right onto this wide, stony forest path
(2) Continue along the tarmac road until you reach the junction of Route de Coat Ermit and Route du Shériff.
(3) Turn right towards the Chapelle Saint-Jean de Penhoat.
(4) Turn left, then right at the hairpin bend to reach the Frynaudour Viaduct. Then descend to the end of the road to the confluence of the Leff and Trieux rivers
(5) Return, pass under the viaduct and take the path uphill on the left after the forest table. Pass in front of the Frynaudour TER train station.
(6) Continue and turn left at the corner of the last house and continue to the junction with the next path.
(7) Turn left and continue to the Coat Ermit Lodge.
(8) Enter the Coat Ermit Lodge: enjoy the breathtaking view from the terrace of the Château de la Roche Jagu located just opposite.
Return to the path, passing two old flax scutching mills and a small fountain. Follow the path
above the Trieux towards the tunnel passing under the railway line.
(9) Tunnel: be careful, it is dark with water running down the middle.
(10) At the large lightning-struck tree, take the path on the right leading to the manor house (S/E).
