You can park your vehicle in the car park at the Chapelle St-Jean, near the wash house. You can also take the Guingamp-Paimpol line and get off at the Frynaudour or Traou Nez stop: TER BREIZGO ter.sncf.com.
(S/E) Head towards the Chapelle St-Jean, built inthe 16th century and rebuilt inthe 20th century. At the fork, turn left towards the chapel.
(1) Continue straight ahead on Route de St Jean until you reach a small path.
(2) Turn right before house no. 23 onto a small path at the corner of this house and continue to the top.
(3) Turn right onto Route de Kerbruc and take the first road on the left. Go through the first patch of woods. You will find yourself on Route de Coat-Ermit. As you exit, turn slightly to your left and you will see a very small passage on your right. Cross this second small pine forest. It will take you out on the other side, on the road that leads to the Maison de l'Estuaire (Traou Nez).
(4) When you come out, cross the road and go straight ahead to the end of this path.
(5) Turn slightly left after the field, then turn right under a hedge. Continue until you reach the hamlet of Coat Bruc.
(6) Pass a property resembling a stud farm. This road is a dead end. Continue until you reach a fork. Turn left.
(7) This is Allée de Traou Broust. For reference, a small sign indicates that you are on the Vélomaritime. Continuestraight ahead until you reach Route de Lancerf.
(8) Turn right, then take the first farm track on your left. Follow it until you approach the tarmac road.
(9) Just before you reach the road that descends to Lancerf, look for a small entrance on your right, which you take, and which will take you through some undergrowth. In winter, some sections can be very muddy, so make sure you are well equipped. This path leads to the main road between Paimpol and Penhoat.
(10) Stay carefully on the main road on the right to take the Route de St-Ambroise on your left. You will come to a fork. If you wish, continue past No. 34 to the Chapelle St-Ambroise, which is modest but very pretty in its green setting. It's worth a quick detour.
(11) Stay on the first road on the right. Continue straight ahead on this road which descends towards Kervaudin. It is a bit long, but quiet, with very little traffic. Follow it to the end. Turn left. You will see the Kerban relay antennas in the distance.
(12) Look for a small entrance to a field on the right, which is barely visible but clearly marked. A hedge of willows and then oak trees is on your left in this lane. On the right is a cultivated field. You may see pheasants there. At the end, you will arrive at the hamlet of Poul Priou.
(13) Pass through the hamlet and continue straight ahead until you reach Chemin du Pont Danodis, which you should follow until you reach Chemin François Ollivier, a main road.
(14) Be careful of cars when crossing. You will arrive at Chemin de Kroaz' N Aod.
(15) Pass this road, then turn slightly right at the "no motorcycles" sign. The road is quiet and a bit long. It marks the entrance to the old Plourivo motocross site. On your right, you will see some old tyres stored there. Turn slightly right to reach the stream.
(16) Turn right, follow the river stones, and cross the stream to the left to head back up towards Kerjean.
(17) There is a chicken coop on your left when you reach the hamlet. Turn left onto Route de Kermainguy. Ignore the first path on the left and take the second one just before house number 13, where you can see a large weeping willow in the garden. Go downhill and turn left along the cultivated field.
(18) Opposite you, the edge of the path at the bottom of the field is barely visible. Continue along this path to the bottom, where you will see an iron gate hidden on your left. Turn right and follow the Leff river on your left. Then turn right and begin the final climb. You will see the stream flowing through the lush vegetation. You will be pleasantly surprised by where you arrive. An unexpected exit to return to the car park (S/E).
