Parking: Bourg de Lancerf, in the field next to the wash house.
(S/E) Take the road south-west and turn left at thefirst road, then right after 100 metres.
Continue along Chemin des Ajoncs until you reach Rue Alain Barbetorte, which you take on the right. In the bend, admire the two engraved stones on the right. Continue along this street and go straight across the crossroads.
(1) Take the forest path on the right and follow it until you reach a road.
(2) Turn left onto the road and continue straight ahead.
(3) Take the path on the right, then after 50 metres, turn left and continue along this wide forest path until you reach a road. Turn right onto this road, make a sharp left turn and after a sharp right turn, take the path on the left.
(4) Continue straight ahead on the path that climbs gently. After a 90° bend to the left, continue straight ahead, passing under a power line, and continue on this path, ignoring all other paths to the right and left.
(5) At the fork, take the path on the left to reach a road after 60 metres, heading east. This road continues on the right.
(6) Turn right after 100 metres onto Route de Kerbruc. Very quickly, the tarmac road becomes a wide stone path. Continue along this path, go around the top of the Kerbruc house and then follow the path on the left.
(7) The path overlooks the "Petit train à vapeur du Trieux" railway line and crosses an area that was affected by a fire on 3 October 2016. The path leads to a road.
(8) Turn left and descend towards the Coat Ermit lodge, where you can admire a magnificent view of the Trieux and the Château de la Roche Jagu from the terrace.
Go back up and continue along the path on the left. It climbs northwards, following the railway line. Go down on the left to access the tunnel.
(9) Go through the tunnel and, at the exit, first turn right then left. Continue along the path, which bends to the right, and continue to the Maison de l'Estuaire. This is the Domaine de Traou Nez, infamous for the Seznec affair (see Wikipedia tab below). Take the road and pass under the railway bridge.
(10) Follow the hairpin bend to the left, continue climbing, then, at the hairpin bend to the right, take the path on the left. Walk along the railway line. Follow the path as it turns sharply to the right and then in a wide curve to the left. Continue along the path until you reach the road.
(2) Follow the road to the left until you reach another road.
(11) Turn left and descend towards the village. At the crossroads, take the road on the right, then very quickly turn left to reach the hill in front of the Lancerf Chapel. Leave the hill through a gap in the wall, walk along the wash house to return to the car park. (S/E).
