Different perspectives on the Garonne side canal
Starting from the village of Saint-Rustice, you cross the magnificent Pompignan communal wood and join the greenway along the Garonne side canal.
Be careful at the start as there is a short steep slope!
Between the rose and the orchid in Villaudric
A walk through the woods and vineyards of the Fronton AOP. The hike passes two iconic châteaux of the appellation: Château Caze (with its 18th-century wine storehouse) and Château la Colombière.
Depending on the season, you may also see two protected flowers: the French rose (Rosa Gallica) and the rare Serapias Cordiagera orchid.
From vineyards to forests in the Frontonnais region
This hike in the heart of the Fronton vineyards allows you to admire magnificent vineyard landscapes. Upon arrival at the Maison des Vins et du Tourisme, you can enjoy a glass of Négrette wine!This route is dotted with portraits of unusual and quirky winegrowers, offering you a different perspective on the Fronton vineyards.
From Péchabé to Riou d'Embouet
Crossing the historic centre of Castelnau d'Estrétefonds via the church, the château and the village houses, then climbing up to Péchabé, which is dedicated to the cause of plants. A bucolic walk through a landscape of valleys and hillsides with wide views over the village towards the plain.
Boulocaine walk
A short, brisk walk in the heart of the village of Bouloc. You will pass through remarkable woodland before climbing the Chemin de la Groule towards the sports complex, which includes a fitness trail through the forest.
The butterfly trail
Along the trail, you will follow rural paths and discover remarkable landscapes, cultivated plains and shady valleys. You will have an unobstructed view of the Girou plain and the hillsides.
You will be accompanied by numerous butterflies, and the diverse wildlife and flora along the trail will brighten up your hike, including a private park populated by deer.
Among the vines: heart-shaped serapias
A bucolic walk in the heart of the Fronton AOP. You will go from valley to valley through vineyards and forests. You will enjoy magnificent views of the Girou valley with the Pyrenees as a backdrop and a panoramic view of the Tarn valley from Rabastens to Montauban.
The circuit is marked by 13 scent markers featuring the aromas of Fronton wines. Can you recognise them all?
The two bell towers walk
Cépet and Gargas are small, quiet villages that have retained all their authenticity, beauty and rural character despite the demographic development of the area.A visit to these villages will transport you to a peaceful atmosphere. A bucolic walk through the fields will also allow you to breathe in the fresh country air and enjoy the rural flora and fauna, which are sure to delight you.

From Saint-Pantaléon to Monriquet: a stroll through Saint-Sauveur
A short stroll through the heart of Saint-Sauveur, a small, peaceful village with authentic charm. The panoramic viewpoint on Place Monriquet (town hall) offers a view of several church spires in the surrounding area: can you recognise them?
Between the canal and the hillsides of the Frontonnais
Starting along the canal, the route then winds through the hillsides of the Fronton region, offering breathtaking views over the Garonne plain. This circular route is best suited to fit and active walkers, due to the elevation changes and gradients encountered.
Cycling through the vineyards
Starting from the Maison des Vins et du Tourisme, this easy route is suitable for families. Discover the vineyard landscapes of the Fronton AOP along the roads of Fronton. The Place des Amis de la Négrette is an ideal spot for a picnic near the vineyards.
A ride through the Frontonnais
A fairly flat ride, suitable for all, starting from the Maison des Vins et du Tourisme. Follow the roads of the Frontonnais on this 15 km route, where you’ll see some vineyards and pass through wooded areas.
