Start at the car park on the corner of Rue de l’Église and Route d’Isdes.

(S/E) Cross Route d’Isdes and continue straight ahead along Chemin des Sables after crossing the first stream. Ignore the adjacent paths. Pass the lanes leading to Beaugenceau, then to Lorcy, on your right. Ignore the lane on your left leading to Les Aisances, signposted Chemin de la Poustière.
Discreet (or even illegible) “C – R” markings
(1) Take the second lane towards the Poustière farm on the left, ignoring the adjacent turnings. Pass this farm, then two successive streams, and finally the pretty traditional farm at Montcourt. This lane meets a diagonal path. Continue to a junction.
(2) Turn left towards the east, ignoring the adjacent forest tracks. Cross two streams, pass the La Marnière farm, then follow its pond on your left until you reach a junction.
(3) Turn right to continue through the forest until you reach a T-junction.
(4) Turn left towards Le Petit Bouloy onto a more clearly marked path, then turn right immediately. Cross a stream.
(5) At the junction, turn right, walk alongside the beautiful pond on your left and the pretty, beautifully restored Les Bazins farm. The path turns left at a right angle to form a lovely lane leading to the D120 or Route de Sennely.
(6) Follow this road straight on.
(7) At the junction of the Route de Sennely and the Route de Souvigny, continue straight on along the lovely avenue. This crosses the D83 (take care), then runs alongside the Fraizières farm, behind which lies the château of the same name. Finally, the beautiful Le Petit Voisin mansion bears witness to a rich past. The lane turns right at a right angle, then veers left after crossing the Cosson.
(8) At the crossroads, turn left onto Route de Villemurlin, pass the pond on your right and continue along this road.
(9) At the junction with the Route de Viglain, marked by a metal cross, turn left towards the village of Vannes-sur-Cosson. Take the first street on the left, which runs alongside the church on your right, then joins the Rue de l’Église, leading back to the starting point (S/E).
Just one comment: on the map, the starting point (no. 1) is not marked correctly. It should be located in the village of Vannes-sur-Cosson or at the car-sharing car park.
