Park under the Sennely market hall or nearby.
(S/E) Start this walk on Grand Rue, following the road to La Ferté-Saint-Aubin, heading north-west. When you reach an intersection, turn left and then immediately right onto Rue de Villechaume, still heading towards La Ferté-Saint-Aubin. Follow this road on the hard shoulder until you reach a Y-junction formed by the road and a path slanting tothe right. Take care when crossing.
(1) Turn right, taking care when crossing, and take Chemin de Champ Guilbert, marked in yellow and red. Continue along this wide path, ignoring all side paths, passing Cellettes, La Venottière and Le Petit Gâtinais. A little further on, pass a beautiful pond on your left and you will reach a four-way crossroads.
(2) Follow the path opposite, marked in yellow and red and signposted CR. Ignore the numerous side paths and continue to the entrance to Courtaille.
(3) Turn right, where a pretty winding ditch runs alongside the CR-marked path. Negotiate a zigzag and, shortly afterwards, cross the bridge over the Cosson, ignore the secondary paths and join theGR®3C-GR® Pays de Sologne.
(4) Follow theGR®3Cto the right, marked in white and red, cross a small bridge with green railings and continue, ignoring all side paths. Pass to the left of a sawmill and join the D12.
(5) Cross the road carefully. Continue straight ahead towards La Poustière, Vannes-sur-Cosson. Ignore the Chemin de la Proutière on your left. Zigzag past a pond on your left, then continue to a four-way crossroads, where the left-hand path is blocked by a chain.
(6) Leave theGR®3Ctrail opposite and continue along the CR trail on the right, ignoring the paths on the right and left. Cross the courtyard of La Poustière (uninhabited farm) then the bridge over the Cosson, ignoring all secondary paths. Reach the Montcourt farm, leave it on your left and continue to an inverted Y-junction.
(7) Continue straight ahead, following the CR sign. Pass a four-way junction and ignore the two paths on your right. You will reach another junction.
(8) Pass a barrier on your left and ignore the path on your right. Take the pretty path opposite, marked CR, ignore the side paths and reach a T-junction.
(9) Turn left to follow the wide path, then, at Maison Rouge, turn right and join the D120, ignoring all side paths.
(10) Turn right onto the D120, called Rue de la Clairière. Pass the sign marking the entrance to the town of Sennely. At the Y-junction, follow Rue de la Barauderie to the right towards La Ferté-Saint-Aubin, then turn left onto Rue du Cormier. Follow the pavement on the right and turn into Venelle du Vieux Moulin opposite, where you can still see the stone millstone. Continue to Rue de la Mairie.
(11) Turn left, pass Place de la Mairie. At the Y-junction, turn left, continuing along Rue de la Mairie, until you reach Place de l'Église, then turn left. Cross the road carefully to reach the car park:
