(S) From the "Osteno - Isolabella - Bivio Paese" bus stop, head west on Strada Provinciale 14. At the first crossroads, leave the SP14 and follow the signs for Osteno. Cross the bridge over the Lirone stream. Continue along Via Porlezza until you come to a flight of steps on the left. Take these steps to reach Via Alessandro Giobbi and continue to the Cimetero di Osteno.
(1) Just after the cemetery, turn left onto the small Via Mulino, which leads to Via Alessandro Giobbi.
(2) Take Via Alessandro Giobbi again until you reach Ponte della Folia. Head south at the bridge and take the path that runs alongside the Torrente Telo. After two bends, you will reach the Ramponio Cemetery.
(3) Continue along this road until you reach the church of San Benedetto.
(4) Stay on Strada Provinciale 13, pass a large car park on the left, continue for another 250 m and reach an intersection.
(5) On the right, take the narrow road, limited to 5 T, which heads west and then climbs slightly north to the place called Scaria. Reach a crossroads at Via Fratelli Palli.
(6) Head north on Via dei Santi Nazzaro e Celso, which leads to the church of the same name and the Scaria cemetery.
(7) Shortly before the cemetery, take the path on the right that leads to the village centre and ends at Via Poletti.
(8) On the way, look out for the Hotel Belvédère on Via Poletti, where you will be staying for the night. To round off the day, head north to the end of Via Poletti. Enjoy the magnificent view of Lake Lugano. Return to the Hotel Belvédère (E).
