Rifugio Murelli - Cernobbio

(S) From Rifugio Murelli, take the trail towards Bisbino, pass Alpe di Crinco and join the junction with an ascending trail.

(1) Continuing towards Bisbino, you will gradually reach the Rifugio Bugone.

(2) Heading west, return to the last hairpin bend on the Cernobbio - Bisbino road.

(3) At the bend, take the shortcut trail that rejoins the last bend in the road. You will easily reach the Monte Bisbino facilities.

(4) Take a break to visit the Santuario della Beata Virgine on Monte Bisbino. Descend the steps from the sanctuary and the Rifugio to the car park. Begin the descent towards Cernobbio and, after the first hairpin bend, head for the Capanna Falco refuge.

(5) Follow the Cernobbio Bisbino trail to Monti Duello.

(6) Continue south and reach the Pievenello mule track.

(7) Follow this track until you reach Via Angelo Noseda at the entrance to Cernobbio.

(8) Just before a school, turn left into the narrow street called Via dell'Armé and continue downhill until you reach Via della Liberta.

(9) At the intersection, take the small path and reach Via Monte Santo (Antica Via Regina). Turn right and continue to Via Monte Grappa.

(10) Turn left and follow Via Monte Grappa, approaching Lake Como at the Old England Pub.

(11) To reach the pier, cross the old village via Via 20 Settembre and then Via Guiseppe Garibaldi. Drive along the esplanade to the lake shore (E).
