In Landudec, at the traffic lights on the D784, take the D143 towards Douarnenez. The cemetery is on the right, just after the church.
PR® (Route des 3 Ormes) yellow markings
(S/E) From the car park, walk along the right-hand side of the cemetery and join a grassy path blocked by two large boulders. At the end, turn left and follow the wide gravel path (an old Roman road) that runs behind the houses. Continue straight ahead, walking alongside a housing estate on your left. After the last house and its aviary, the gravel lane continues as a grassy path lined with trees.
(1) At the signpost at the crossroads, turn left onto a path that leads to a place called Kerhat. This path, used for agricultural work, can be muddy with ruts. At the road, turn right.
(2) At the twoPR® signs, continue straight ahead on the road. The path on the left will be the return route. At the next three-way junction, marked as a dangerous crossroads, continue straight ahead towards Keridreuf Trémaéron (direction sign). Pass the entrance to Kerivin farm and continue for about 100 m on the road.
(3) At the yellow mark on a telephone pole, turn left onto a grassy path that becomes a sunken lane heading due north. At the road, opposite the entrance to Kerannor farm, turn right and follow this road downhill.
(4) At the three-way junction (sign for the Plogastel route), turn left onto a grassy path that descends into the woods and follow it to a road at the edge of the woods. Follow this road to the left for about 100 metres.
(5) Look for a sign on the left indicating that only pedestrians are allowed to pass and take this path to follow the course of the Goyen, still a modest stream, on your right. The path passes above the Moulin Neuf buildings.
(6) After two old wooden barriers, note the Kernilis wash house on the right (not shown on the map). This wash house is unusual in that it is built on the hillside rather than at the bottom of the valley, as it is fed by a spring from the wooded massif. Continue along the path at the bottom of the valley, then turn left and climb up a steep path to the access road to Moulin Poas, which you will see above you.
(7) Cross this small road and continue opposite into the woods. Very quickly, the path turns right and descends along the edge of meadows and fields. At the signpost, turn right and descend towards Moulin Com, a beautiful complex currently undergoing renovation. Leave the buildings on your right and head towards the D143 via a beautiful lane.
(8) Cross with caution (there is no designated crossing and it is located at the bottom of a steep descent) and take the sunken lane opposite. After about a hundred metres, at the sign indicating the link with anotherPR® "Les moulins de Pouldergat", continue along a wide path at the bottom of the valley. In the past, this was the main road between Landudec and Douarnez. Continue for about a kilometre.
(9) At the discreet signpost, climb left up a stony path towards Kergoff Trémaéron. Go around this hamlet on the right (note the beautiful restoration of an old farmhouse and an old bread oven). Continue along this path, which winds its way between horse pastures, until you reach the D143.
(10) Carefully cross the D143 diagonally (bend and poor visibility) and take the path almost opposite. Be careful, there are no markings at this point. Follow this single shaded path and note a beautiful wash house on the right below the path (marked as a fountain on the map). I did not see the second one marked on the map. Reach the fork in the path from the outward journey.
No markings
(2) Turn right, then continue straight on this small road. Pass Kerhat then Kerdréach and arrive at the road sign marking the entrance to the village of Landudec.
(11) Turn left into the municipal housing development under construction (November 2017) and follow the footpath. At the end, turn right and rejoin the outward route. Turn right, pass the residence on your right, then turn right onto the path that leads to the cemetery car park (S/E).
