Route de découverte de Bergholtz-Zell

Park in the small car park in front of Saint-Benoit Church.

(S/E) With the church behind you, take the street leading off to the left of the car park (Rue du Bois). At the end, turn right onto Rue Principale to reach the fountain of the same name.

(1) Continue straight ahead along the street until you reach the Passage des Saules and its green space.

(2) Cross the passage on the left. At the end of the green space, head straight ahead, then keep left onto Rue des Peupliers. At the bend, take the small passage on the right. At the end, continue right onto Rue des Prés, then pass two junctions to rejoin Rue Principale.

(3) Turn right onto this street. Then, head up Rue Saint-Benoît on the left. At the end, rejoin Rue Principale, follow it to the left, then arrive at the Passage des Saules.

(2) Turn left onto Rue du Vignoble. You will then reach the war memorial.

(4) Take the start of the Way of the Cross of Mont Calvaire de l’Œlberg on the right. Walk past the Chapel of the Cenacle, then keep straight on at each junction until you reach the path leading to a house. Head up to the right, then reach a chapel. Continue along the Way of the Cross, which passes in front of this chapel and turns left. You will then reach the main chapel. Go round the left side of the chapel and, when you reach the house, take the path just beyond it. When you rejoin Rue des Suisses, turn left and follow this street to the fountain.

(5) Turn left to continue along the street, and walk to Saint-Benoit Church (S/E).
