Park on Route de Bollenberg.
(S/E) Leave the car park via the cycle path that goes around the Bollenberg massif on the right, heading south. Keep right at the fork to reach the junction with a carriageway on the left.
(1) Take this road. Turn left. Cut across a track and then the road and continue straight ahead, on a narrower path and then on a track, until you reach the easily identifiable Chapelle des Sorcières (Witches' Chapel). This route takes you to the top of the massif without having to tackle any particularly steep sections.
(2) Leave the chapel on your left and turn right at the crossroads. You will reach a fork. From there, follow the blue ring markings. The first part descends over concrete slabs and quickly reaches a carriageway. Take the second left and stay on the left on the track. Cut across a road to follow the Collines de Rouffach Nature Reserve to the next junction.
(3) Turn left, leaving the carriageway for a single track. Continue straight ahead, the path leads (through low vegetation) to the road leading to the Domaine du Bollenberg. Turn right and cross it from one side to the other. The path continues to climb on a slight incline (highest point 336 m) before descending to the crossroads that can be seen from a distance (go straight ahead at the first three forks).
(4) At the fourth crossroads, turn left and continue straight ahead until you reach the chapel.
(2) Go around it on the right-hand side below. A small technical path takes you down to the car park where you started. Take care on this slightly steep terrain. (S/E)
