Parking at the Château de Beaumesnil.
(S/E) Leave the car park towards the 1001 légumes vegetable garden and follow the Allée des Tilleuls. Cross the D25 and take the Allée des Sapins opposite for 500m.
(1) Turn right, go down into the valley and go around the water treatment plant. Continue straight ahead for about 1km.
(2) At Pierre Ronde, take the second path on the right towards the church of Pierre Ronde.
(3) At the road, turn left and then immediately right.
(4) Before Cour-Bouette, take the dirt track on the right. After the woods, cross a road and continue for 300 metres.
(5) Turn left, cross the D140 (take care!) and follow the small road opposite for 250 metres.
(6) At the first bend, turn completely left onto a grassy path and descend into the valley. Follow the path below or the overhanging embankment.
(7) At the crossroads, 250m before Sainte-Marguerite-en-Ouche, turn left and go up the road. At the fork, keep left.
(8) Take the first path on the right. At Les Monts, cross a small road, continue straight ahead and descend into the woods. After 1.5 km, leave the path that climbs to the right towards Saint-Aubin-des-Hayes. After a slight climb, continue to the right and walk along the woods.
(9) At the road, turn left. After 600m, at the top of the bend, take a tarmac path on the left and follow it to the first houses in Beaumesnil.
(10) After the calvary, turn right and, 100 m further on, enter the castle esplanade. Take Rue des Forges opposite and head for the car park (S/E).
