In Veynes, take the D348 towards Glaise. The road passes through gorges before opening out onto a plateau. Park in the car park at the start of the hiking trails located at the entrance to the village of Glaise.
(S/E) Go straight up the tarmac road and leave the Col de Berthaud path on your left. Cross the village, passing in front of the Chapelle Saint-Jacques.
(1) At Les Garcins de Glaise, turn left. The road gives way to a dirt track which you follow to the Col de Glaise.
(2) At the pass, leave the path on your left, which you will take on the way back. Continue along the north-north-west path. Reach the Col des Flocardes.
(3) At the pass, take the track that climbs up to the left.
(4) At the next junction, follow the track on the left that climbs towards Charajaille. After a steep climb, you will reach a flat, deforested area.
(5) Then follow the south-southwest path. Climb to the summit of Charajaille.
(6) Descend north-west along the path that follows the ridge to an altitude of 1,700 metres.
(7) Leave the ridge and descend to the left on the south face. First pass through a wooded area, then over some scree. You will then arrive at a plateau in a beech forest. Stay alert to stay on the path and reach Clot Labessié; the path becomes a track.
(8) Leave the track and take the path that descends to the right. Further on, turn left at the hairpin bend and you will reach a large circular DFCI water tank, which is the Source de la Doux.
(9) Take the path that branches off to the left. Walk along the hillside, ignoring the paths that branch off to the right. This will take you to the Col de Glaise.
(2) Take the same route back down to the village of Glaise (S/E).
