Burons are an integral part of the architectural heritage of the Aubrac. These small stone houses were once used by farmers to watch over their cows and produce cheese during the summer. Although they are part of the landscape and soul of the Aubrac, today nearlytwo-thirds of them are disappearing due to lack of use. Let's give them back the interest they deserve by walking alongside them! This hike will take you from buron to buron, through magnificent landscapes and unusual discoveries. This last stage of the Tour de l'Aubrac, shared with theGR®®65Chemin de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle à l'envers, once again showcases the vast wilderness of the Aubrac plateau. In the last third of the stage, which is a little more shaded, you can admire the imposing granite bell tower of the Church of La Chaze-de-Peyre and the Chapel of La Bastide.
